AI Hub

Assisting the development of local artificial intelligence (AI) talent and attracting world-leaders in AI to Queensland.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub is a $5 million investment under the Queensland Government’s $755 million Advance Queensland initiative.

It will help build our AI capabilities and global connections, and keep talented people and jobs in Queensland.

The AI Hub supports Queensland’s innovation sector, businesses and startups through education, programs and bringing world-leaders in AI to Queensland as experts-in-residence.

The AI Hub is managed by AI Consortium and located at the Queensland Government’s innovation and investment hub known as The Precinct in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.

Our vision is for Queensland to be recognised nationally and internationally as a leader in AI-enabled social, economic and workplace positive transformation.

The AI Hub will focus on the following four key initiatives:

  • grow awareness and connect Queensland businesses, industry, government organisations and universities to local AI talent and technologies’
  • showcase local AI talent and businesses
  • deliver programs to develop AI talent (tertiary students, researchers and emerging AI businesses)
  • connect Queensland’s AI talent and solutions to other global centres.
